The Everyday Life of Teal Swan
Hi Teal, Embracing change. yesssss. I will now go outside and enjoy a sunny spring day. Thank god I’m a country boy. It is Cup day in Australia. No school today.
Hi, I’ve been watching your videos for a while and like many others they help me immensely. Something has been heavily pushing me to contact you though my timidness has held me back… But I worked up the courage to actually type something up to only realize, as most times words are failing me.
Much love to you take care, sorry the em purposelessness of this
Bob and weave…don’t deny the past but reach out and embrace the future. Look at every day as if it has the potential to be the best day of your life.
yes! thank you!!
Lately I have been feeling this pull to run away from everything. I am going to a university in California, and according to my family and the “american dream” of what young people should be doing (the structured, traditional lifestyle), this is the right pathway for me. After watching your videos, I finally was able to understand what my purpose in life is. Since I was 15, I have wanted to help people and to rid my own life of the negativity that had been built up over time through abuse by my family and the shame I felt. Teal, I really felt like I could relate to you on a deep level. You are someone that was placed on this earth to help others, and you offer a clear message to the ever changing/developing human race. Though I am going to school here at this university, I am spending a lot of time meditating and letting go of the negative feelings that I had associated with being here. As you mentioned many times, we create our own realities and we can change the outcome of events in our lives. Suffering and sadness are not feelings that I wish to feel any more, and by watching your videos and reading your blogs, you have really helped me change a lot. You have also helped me find purpose, considering I am an Indigo adult who had been feeling “directionless” and frustrated with humanity and the cruelty that surrounds us. But, you have allowed me to not focus on that negativity, and instead to project kind thoughts and good vibrations into the universe. Thank you again
Hi Cassandra, The idea of not focussing on negativety is wise but keep in mind that if you avoid unresolved feelings about your past they will govern your life. Letting go of negativity happens naturally when one embraces one’s fear and anger by fully feeling them. That doesn’t mean paying out on others. Hitting your bed with a tennis raquet is a great release. I doubt we are put here to help others. Helping others is a byproduct of waking up to the reality that we are interconnected and are part of a body of consciousness. (Universal Mind) In this waking up to our connection to the Universal Mind, all its powers become available to us as an individual entity. Helping others is no longer a sacrifice. Pleasing your parents, or anyone else at the cost of your well being is a dead end.
